ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Analyze and design Radio Frequency (RF) and/or Radio Access Network (RAN) components and systems. Perform Radio Access Network design for single and multi-frequency wireless networks. Utilize Spectrum Analyzer, Power meter and other Radio Access Network equipment, in compliance to network design guidelines. Perform Radio Frequency analysis for both single and Multi-carrier network projects, and for the design of new RF build sites. Review current components from existing RF networks and design technical solutions for overall system optimization. Design and oversee installation and optimization of wireless radio access network communications systems. Design and oversee radio propagation modeling and prediction, microwave path analysis, interference analysis, frequency coordination, cell site equipment layout, parameter definition and ancillary network equipment. Create drive routes, Drive testing, post-processing, and analyzing results. Optimization and Multiband tuning of various wireless radio/telecom equipment vendors. Propose post-launch Optimization changes and tracking improvements towards target KPIs/SLAs. Extensive experience with local and global parameter changes and their impact. (SW-1)
EDUCATION AND TRAINING:
Position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic Engineering (Employer will accept single degree or any combination of degrees, diplomas or professional credentials, and professional experience, which are determined to be the equivalent of a U.S. Bachelor Degree by a qualified evaluation service).
