Essential Duties \and Responsibilities:
Test, maintain, develop \and administer computer networks \and systems, including hardware, software \and program configuration on assigned projects. Define, develop, \and document complex network infrastructure requirements, objectives, deliverables, \and specifications on a project-by-project basis in collaboration with internal users \and departments. Develop, document \and revise system design procedures, test procedures, \and quality st\andards. Analyze \and assess existing network infrastructure systems \and procedures, \and provide network infrastructure design \and support, under the direction of supervisor or other network staff for complex processes. Analyze system needs to determine requirements for modification or system/software. Research, identify, \and analyze requirements of all internal \and external program users. Determine updated requirement \and translate requirements into design for computer/network system. Design, run, test \and monitor computer systems performance for new \and existing network infrastructure for the purposes of correcting software coding errors, isolating areas for improvements \and general debugging. Use object-oriented programming languages, as well as client \and server applications development processes \and multimedia \and Internet technology. Analyze network performance \and drive testing data analysis, C/I, C/A, Coverage, Call h\andover, Call drop, Rx Quality, SQI etc., \and consequently prepare action plans for drive test \and drive test routes. Troubleshoot \and calibrate drive test equipment. Collect drive data for voice, HSUPA (High-Speed Uplink Packet Access), HSDPA (High-Speed Downlink Packet Access), \and scanner data. Create routes in Microsoft Streets \and Trips \and Street Atlas. Consistently translate \and configure system applications \and network infrastructure scripts to operate in a complex wide area network \and multi-layered infrastructure. Perform Single Site Verification (SSV), IRAT (Inter-Radio Access Technology) testing, \and IFHO (inter-frequency h\andover) testing, an report unexpected coverage issues. Test intra/inter BSC (base station controller) h\andovers. Manage data collection \and frequency scan for UMTS (Universal Mobile Telecommunications System), GSM (Global System for Mobile communications), LTE (Long-Term Evolution), CDMA (Code division multiple access), EV-DO (Evolution-Data Optimized) etc. for h\andoffs. Write scripts, configurations, \and reports to enhance functionality \and/or performance of network systems as necessary. Conduct research on emerging network infrastructure solutions \and st\andards in support of procurement \and development efforts. Collaborate with vendors for efficient implementation of new infrastructure products or systems \and for resolution of any adaptation issues. Work closely with troubleshooting team to troubleshoot problematic areas \and report unexpected coverage issues. Troubleshoot \and calibrate drive test equipment. Document systems \and provide post-implementation systems support.

EDUCATION AND TRAINING:      

Position requires a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or other related field
