POSITION DUTIES:
Supervise RF Optimization & Integration (HSPA, HSPA+, 4G LTE & 5G), wireless network systems, system dimensioning for coverage and capacity, system design and dimensioning. Oversees and perform RF network design, planning and optimization activities including HSPA, HSPA+, 4G LTE & 5G Optimization. Perform link budget analysis, design criteria and traffic analysis. Ensure data integrity of various morphology/topography databases and drive test data for model calibration. Design, maintain and improve electrical, instruments and components. Undertake network performance improvement (KPIs), functionality, counters, tuning and optimization tasks. Undertake BSS/RNC/Node B parameter modifications. Analyze and recommend equipment and antenna co-location requirements for different technologies. Perform site build verification and acceptance. Perform inter-modulation and other external interference analysis. Perform PN planning. Responsible to resolve day-to-day issues and support regions to deliver KPI of every UMTS, 4G LTE & 5G cluster. Implement HSPA, HSPA+, 4G LTE & 5G optimization/acceptance plan, sponsor best practices, assess and escalate system issues to RAN, Core, Data design team. Supervise the work of subordinate engineers. Site configuration analysis. Pilot pollution analysis, parameter configuration, IRAT neighbor analysis. Perform Exclusion / Exception area recommendation and verification, and identify, resolve all coverage and RF design deficiencies. Supervise system integration, test and development of RF/millimeter-wave/Sub6 communications modules for macro cell sites. Advanced working knowledge of Base Station Vendor equipment (Samsung, Alcatel Lucent/Nokia, Ericsson). Prepare specification for purchase of materials and equipment. Maintain wireless infrastructure architectures and air interface standards for NR/LTE, MAC layer and L1/L2/L3/X2 protocols, call flow and functions, QoS parameters. Analyze existing and emerging concepts such as Hybrid Beamforming, Massive MIMO, New Waveforms, LTE-NR inter-relation working and co-existence, DSS and 5G numerologies. BBE or related filed and 5 years of experience. Or MEE or related filed and 2 year of experience.
